Hello everyone.
I'm Teppi, a travel writer.

This is the 23rd superb view article

This time I will be introducing the Tohoku region for the first time on this homepage !
I would like to introduce Nagahama Lake Beach, located at Lake Inawashiro in Fukushima Prefecture😄

Many swans fly to Nagahama Lake Beach in winter !

Nagahama is a lake beach located at Lake Inawashiro🏖
It is located in Inawashiro Town, Fukushima Prefecture🌎

Lake Inawashiro is the fourth largest lake in Japan😊
As you can see in the photo, Nagahama Lake Beach is a viewing spot where you can see the beautiful lake.

It's so big that I wonder if it's the ocean ?🤔
I almost misunderstood this, but Lake Inawashiro has many lake beaches similar to Nagahama📸

Among them, Nagahama Lake Beach is attractive because it is located along the national highway, making it easy to stop by🚘

National Route 49, which passes through Nagahama Lake Beach, connects Aizuwakamatsu and Koriyama, two major cities in Fukushima Prefecture🏙
So, whenever I drive by, I always stop by😎

Nagahama Lake Beach is also a resting place for winter birds

Look at the photo above !
The lake beach is filled with a huge number of ducks !😳

You can also see a swan in the middle🦢
In this way, Nagahama Lake Beach is also a place where swans come to visit in the winter✨⛄

It was my first time to see so many ducks…😅
In the summer, Nagahama Lake Beach is lined with rows of swan boats, but in the winter, it is a rare place where you can see real swans👀

Among them, ducks may even come to the parking lot🦆🦆🦆
If this happens, it would be best to wait patiently for them to retreat☕

Nagahama Lake Beach is also a landing site for pleasure boats

Nagahama Lake Beach is also the landing spot for pleasure boats that tour Lake Inawashiro

Due to the influence of the coronavirus, it seems like the pleasure boats was at risk of going out of business…💦
In October 2021, they reopened for the first time in about a year and a half, and the pleasure boats has made a great comeback !

Currently, the "Hakucho Maru" shown in the photo is touring Lake Inawashiro, and the other "Kame Maru" is scheduled to go on a cruise😄

The view of Lake Inawashiro from the pleasure boat is also beautiful, so if you have time, it's a good idea to go on board👍
